Dad's Surprise 60th Birthday Party!!

This weekend, Josh and I headed to Little Rock for a Fifties Themed Surprise Party for my Dad. On Monday, he will be the Big 6-0 and we wanted to throw him a party he wouldn't soon forget. Thirty-five of his closest friends and family gathered at Whole Hog and awaited his arrival. As soon as he walked in, you could tell, the Surprise was a complete success!!

Private Room at The Whole Hog Cafe

We had 4 homemade cakes!!

Dad was shocked....

But he was happy!

Unfortunately, I had a terrible cold the entire weekend and wasn't feeling great, but I still had a good time!!

Dad had lots of people to see

Max and his Mallard

So...Max, definitely has his pick of toys... from ropes to bones, he has every kind of toy you can imagine. But...as my neighbors and I have discovered... he does have his favorite, his mallard!! He first found it at Cheryl and Freddy's house, and almost tried to bring it home and steal it from Lola. So I decided to go out and get him one of his own. He absolutely loves it... and here is proof of that!! He is such a great dog, I had to share!

Today, I got on our Central Market Cooking School Home Page to decide on a future cooking class. I looked through February but didn't see anything that caught my eye. Then, got to March and there it was... March 27th... the perfect class that I couldn't afford to miss complete with Wine Sangria, Spring Rolls, Baked Fish and Strawberry cupcakes. I cannot wait to attend and hope that my friend Cheryl will join me!!
