Donate Blood...COMPLETE!!!

So I did it! Yesterday, I finally went and donated blood for the very first time, and amazingly it was a great experience!! I filled out all the paperwork and took all the preliminary tests, then found out that I qualify as a donor!! The process was pretty quick and painless... and I even got a T-shirt for doing it. Last night, after the eventful day, I was beyond tired. I've never slept so well. I'm not saying that donating blood will give you the best sleep ever, but it sure couldn't hurt. Thanks for all the support! More than likely, that is something I will do again in the future.

# 2....Donate Blood

Tomorrow, my office is holding a blood drive and I'm very nervous but considering donating. This is something I have never done... I actually don't even know my blood type so this should be interesting... Wish me luck! Pictures to come... hopefully!

#23 Down... Try a food I've never tried before

Today, my friend Janice and I went to an Indian Restaurant, Kokila, for lunch. They had a buffet, which made trying out the new cuisine even better. Walking up to grab my plate, I was a little nervous that I wouldn't like anything that was offered. But as soon as I got back to the table and took a bite, I was hooked!! I think my favorite item ended up being the Chicken Curry. It's very spicy and really good with Naan bread. I even went back for seconds!! Overall it was a good experience. Janice and I had a great time catching up, and I fully intend to have some more Indian food in the future!!!

Thirty by Thirty Update

I pulled up my wonderful Thirty by Thirty list today, and I still have SOOOO much to do before I turn 30!!

I've also considered changing a couple of them due to the following reasons:
#7: I have made a big purchase in the past (my car and our home); therefore, this wouldn't be something I have never done.
#19: I have also taken lots of dance lessons, when I was younger. I think I would like to take a yoga class instead, which is something I have never tried.

Maybe this will be my motivation to complete some of these items in the upcoming months.

New Years, Trip to AR

For New Years, I went home to visit the family. Of course I spent every night with "my friend", Matthew. I also got to spend some time with my girls and have some white cheese dip!! It was great going home and enjoying a late Christmas with my family. Unfortunately I didn't get a lot of pictures out of the trip, but I did get a few cute ones of my nephew.
